Malveaux, Julianne
Recognized for her provocative, progressive and insightful observations, Dr. Julianne Malveaux, economist, author and commentator, is the president and chief executive officer of Last Word Productions, Inc., a multimedia production company. Her syndicated column appears regularly in USA Today, Black Issues in Higher Education, Ms., Essence and the Progressive. Her weekly column appears in newspapers across the country, including the Los Angeles Times, The Charlotte Observer, the New Orleans Tribune, the Detroit Free Press and the San Francisco Chronicle. She is a charismatic and popular guest on such television shows as CNN’s Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer and Talkback Live, BET’s Lead Story and Howard University’s Evening Exchange. She has appeared on PBS’s To the Contrary, ABC’s Politically Incorrect, Fox News Channel’s O’Reilly Factor and on C-SPAN, MSNBC and CNBC. Dr. Malveaux is an accomplished author and editor. Her most recent books are The Paradox of Loyalty: An African American Response to the War on Terrorism and Unfinished Business: A Democrat and A Republican Take on the 10 Most Important Issues Women Face, which she coauthored.
